Fire protection training in the company in 2021

Fire protection plays an important role in the development of society in general and ensures the safety of life and property of individual Miza employees in particular.

   Fire and Rescue Safety Training aims to improve the efficiency of fire prevention and fighting, promote the responsibilities and roles of the fire and rescue team in the company. Strengthen the initiative and timely handle when a fire occurs. Have knowledge and emergency response measures when a fire occurs at the workplace.

   On 06/01/2021, with a wealth of experience in fire protection and fire protection, Dr. Ngo Van Anh - Lecturer of the University of Fire and Rescue conveyed to the students very basic and practical knowledge about: The significance and importance of fire prevention and rescue work and the consequences of large fires causing serious damage to people and property occurred nationwide as well as in Dong Anh district in recent times; Focus on introducing and analyzing and clarifying so that students can grasp the basic knowledge of fire prevention and rescue, legal documents on fire protection; causes of fire and explosion; some on-site fire prevention and rescue measures if they occur at agencies and units.

   In the first 9 months of 2020, there were 2,530 fires in houses, establishments and motor vehicles nationwide, killing 56 people, injuring 107 people, and property damage estimated at VND 416.15 billion; 306 forest fires occurred, causing damage to 1,094 hectares; There were 27 explosions, killing 09 people and injuring 32 people. Compared to the same period in 2019, the number of fires decreased by 86 cases, decreased by 08 deaths, and property damage was estimated to decrease by 552.05 billion VND.

   The number of fires occurring in urban areas accounted for 52.29% (1,323 cases); rural areas accounted for 47.71% (1,207 cases). The Police Force has investigated and clarified the causes of 1,188 cases (accounting for 46.95%). In which, the number of fires caused by electrical system and equipment breakdowns was 793 cases (accounting for 66.75%); due to careless use of fire and heat sources in 261 cases (accounting for 21.96%); due to technical problems 38 cases (accounting for 3.19%), the rest are other causes such as: violation of regulations on fire protection, traffic accidents, impacts of natural phenomena, etc. The number of house fires accounts for a high rate, accounting for 38.45% (973 cases/2,530 cases), fires in warehouses, production and processing establishments, accounting for 15.29% (387 cases/2,530 cases)... Notably, the number of large fires causing serious damage only accounted for 1.34% of the total number of fires (34/2,530 cases) but property damage accounted for 43.8% of the total damage caused by fire caused (182.3/416.15 billion VND)...

   Based on the above statistics, it can be seen that the damage caused by fire and explosion is extremely large, therefore, businesses in general and Miza Joint Stock Company in particular are always aware "Fire prevention is better than firefighting". Over the years, the Board of Directors of Miza Joint Stock Company has always paid special attention to fire prevention and rescue and thoroughly mastered all employees of the company to seriously implement the regulations on fire prevention and rescue. Therefore, in recent years, there have been no serious fires and explosions at the company.
