MIZA Joint Stock Company successfully applied ISO 9001:2008

Miza Joint Stock Company was established on 2/12/2010 with its head office in Nguyen Khe Small and Medium Industrial Cluster, Nguyen Khe Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City with the field of manufacturing, The main business is the production and recycling of paper of all kinds, treatment and destruction of hazardous waste, pollution treatment and other waste management activities.

With the support of the National Quality Productivity Program, Miza Joint Stock Company began to implement the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management system from September 2014. After 2 years of implementation, the Company has achieved quite clear results.

According to Mr. Dinh Ngoc Ninh – Deputy General Director of Miza Joint Stock Company, since the application of the National Quality Productivity Program, from the management level to the workers, there is no gap in distance. Each job at each stage is clearly defined. This has created a professional and friendly working environment, creating enthusiasm for everyone in the company.

The first obvious effect is that it has simplified the processes and regulations at the company, thus saving time, labor, paperwork, printing... in all activities such as photocopying, printing or distributing documents.

Under the departments, the document management process has met the requirements of management in departments, workshops, the number of books and complete forms for monitoring, fully statistics on work results and facilitate leaders to make decisions based on reported data.

The next effect when applying the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System is in terms of organizational model, personnel at the company, clear work assignment and regulations. This is very urgent for companies because leaders must focus a lot of time and effort to ensure labor productivity and revenue according to the plan, increasing the specialization of each department in the process product quality management.

Focused training, internal audits and leadership reviews are all carried out by the company's management to help members support and exchange. the opportunity to share and learn from each other in the implementation and application of ISO 9001:2008 to each specific department and unit, creating horizontal coordination to better manage product quality together.

Specific achievements that the company has achieved include: labor productivity has increased by 1.16%, production and living expenses have decreased by 2%. The rate of defective products/services when reaching customers decreased by 2%. The rate of reduction of defective products/services in the production process or service provision decreased by 5%. Increased productivity, increased output, reduced raw material and energy costs led to an increase in sales of 0.5% and a profit increase of 0.5% after the application of ISO 9001:2008.
