MIZA WAS HONORED AS "PIONEER IN SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT" AT VIETNAM ESG AWARDS 2025

The event takes place in the last days of 2025, which is also the time when Miza celebrates its 15th anniversary (02/12/2010 – 02/12/2025). In the context that ESG is transforming itself from encouragement to a mandatory set of standards for all businesses, the fact that Miza was named at the Vietnam ESG Awards is a testament to the foresight of the management from the early days of the business.

15 years: From "Paper Regeneration" to "ESG Pioneer"

In the context that ESG (Environment - Society - Governance) is shifting strongly from an incentive to a mandatory requirement, the award at the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 is a worthy recognition of the circular economy model that Miza has pursued since the early days of its establishment.

The Appraisal Council highly appreciated Miza thanks to the "talking numbers" on environmental impact that few paper enterprises have achieved:

• Resource regeneration: Every year, Miza collects and recycles more than 100,000 tons of waste paper, contributing to saving the lives of 1.7 million trees.

• Optimize water resources:  Save 2.6 billion liters of water per year thanks to modern wastewater treatment systems, reuse and circulation of water in production at a high rate.

• Reduce emissions: Reduce polluting emissions by up to 74% compared to the method of producing virgin paper from wood.

Roadmap 2026-2030: Transforming with Technology and Green Finance

Not sleeping on the laurels, right at the ceremony, Miza's representative shared about the ESG strategic roadmap for the period 2026-2030 with bolder and more professional steps.

Miza identifies science and technology as the "key" to substantive ESG implementation. The company plans to expand the implementation of the PowerBI data management system to monitor energy emissions and consumption in real-time, and aims to achieve ISO 50001 certification for energy management and comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory.

In particular, Miza announced the vision to increase capacity to 1,000,000 tons of products/year and plans to issue Green Bonds. This is a strategic step to mobilize resources from the community and investors who share the same green vision, affirming Miza's reputation in the financial and international markets.

Closing a decade and a half of perseverance, the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 trophy is a recognition of Miza's pioneering spirit. The road ahead with the Net-Zero 2050 goal is still challenging, but with a technology foundation and consistency that has been tested over 15 years, Miza is confidently writing the next chapter of a responsible and reachable Vietnamese enterprise.
