Miza Joint Stock Company is one of the few units with a certificate of eligibility for environmental protection in the import of scrap as production materials, on average, the Company imports from 3,000 to 3,500 tons per month

According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in Vietnam, nearly 70% of paper production is produced from recycled materials. However, the supply of raw materials from scrap collection activities in the country only meets 30% of recycled raw materials. The remaining 70% must go through the import route. Miza Joint Stock Company is one of the few units with a certificate of eligibility for environmental protection in the import of scrap as production materials, on average, the Company imports from 3,000 to 3,500 tons per month. Imports are mainly from Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, etc. The main types of paper imported include old carton box paper (OCC), and broken paper.

The source of imported scrap paper helps the company ensure input materials for production, be proactive in orders with customers. Miza Joint Stock Company has chosen to import scrap paper from internationally reputable suppliers with quality of goods meeting QCVN 33:2010/BTNMT technical regulations such as Choyang industry co., ltd (Korea); Forestry Asia Resources (Philippines); Peute papierrecycling b.v  (Netherlands)...

Production costs are greatly affected by the price fluctuations of waste paper. Developments in the scrap paper market quickly affect the price of the Company's input factors. Therefore, the Company must adjust the production cost estimate and selling unit price accordingly. The adjustment takes a long time to implement, affecting production and business progress. Therefore, the company always actively researches and predicts the fluctuation of used paper materials , and at the same time actively negotiates contracts with suppliers to ensure supply in terms of quantity, quality and price.

To promote the development of the paper recycling industry, one of the important factors is to be proactive in sourcing raw materials. If calculated for the whole factory, the production capacity of 150 tons of packaging paper per day and night requires about 170 tons of scrap paper. An average of 5,000 - 5,500 tons of raw materials are used up in a month. Compared to the imported quantity, the Company reserves about 5000 tons of scrap paper materials to ensure stable production and provide enough products according to customer requirements.
